To give you a taste of what you have been missing, I want to tell you what a typical day at the Trophy Bass Lodge is like:

After a restful and comfortable night sleep in your air-conditioned room, you will be greeted by the smell of hot, fresh coffee to gently wake you and start your Mexican Outdoor Adventures. When you are ready, fresh squeezed orange juice, sizzling bacon and farm fresh eggs or pancakes await you in the dining area. Breakfast will be an excellent meal to be enjoyed as you wait in anticipation for those first rays of sun to brighten the morning sky into a beautiful indigo blue so that you can begin your bass bustin’ day on Lake Huites.

After breakfast, a short walk or ride (depending on lake level) will take you to your boat and guide. Trophy Bass Lodge Anglers enjoy fishing from sturdy American made boats. Each boat is outfitted with 55 HP outboards, trolling motors, dual batteries and dual gas tanks. They come equipped for traditional Bait Casting or Fly Fishing. All boats have Coast Guard approved life jackets, nets and an onboard ice chest full of your choice of Beer, bottled water, and soft drinks.

Your seasoned, professional, local guide sits in the rear of the boat out of the way so that you will have plenty of room to "Pound those Puppies" in this world class bass factory. These guides know Lake Huites like the back of their hand, and I will assure you that they will do everything in their power to put you on the fish. They also untangle your bird nests and show you what lures and presentations work best on the day and in the area you are fishing. Now it is time to get with the program of catching bass and enjoying the unparalleled scenery this beautiful Lake offers each angler!

After a great morning of pounding monster bass and exploring gorgeous Lake Huites, you will be taken to the lodge for a hot lunch or, if you prefer to stay on the water, you can have the chef at Trophy Bass Lodge prepare a delicious meal for you before you leave in the morning to take with you. For those who opt to return to the lodge for a terrific lunch, expect fresh cooked meals consisting of wonderful home made soups, fried chicken, enchiladas or the catch of the day, fried fish, complete with condiments. Enjoy your lunch with Margaritas, Beer, juices, soft drinks or, my favorite, freshly sun brewed iced tea. After lunch you can take a short siesta if you like or simply go back out after the lunkers on the lake. After all, you are the boss at Trophy Bass Lodge.

Returning at sundown after an exhilarating day of good weather and fighting big bass all afternoon, the lodge is a welcome site. You will be greeted by the Trophy Bass Lodge staff with tasty Margaritas or Beer and homemade chips and salsa. After a nice warm shower in your large private bathroom, it is time to head to the dining area to feast on delicious appetizers as you share stories with fellow anglers about your day on the lake. Then, while relaxing as you view the beautiful sunset over Lake Huites, it’s time for the delicious main course. The menu will feature impressive entrees consisting of authentic Mexican plates, stuffed jumbo shrimp and grilled angus beef imported from Hermisillo and all the fixin’s!

As our Mexican Outdoor Adventures clients have experienced in the past, the meals at Trophy Bass Lodge are homemade and second to none and the Mexico weather is always pleasant. Pleasant enough that, after your meal, you can meet and share that day’s fishing highlights with the other guests, while enjoying the star studded skies on the big spacious patio overlooking Lake Huites. Don't forget the Bar is always open! Beer, margaritas, soft drinks, fresh juices and bottled spring water are included in the package. If you desire other beverages (i.e. Bourbon, Scotch, etc.) please bring your own.

Your room beckons after a delicious meal and an enjoyably hard day of Trophy Bass Fishing. You will be pleasantly surprised just how nice and comfortable these rooms are. We have suites that can accommodate 2, 3, or 4 depending on the group size. Trophy Bass Lodge offers spacious bedrooms, each of which has a private shower and toilet facility with fine American fixtures. Each suite has electricity, air-conditioning, bottled spring water, large vanity area, hot showers, soap, shampoo, and nice soft towels. You also will receive maid service twice daily so that your room is fresh and clean when you arrive back from the Lake for lunch and for dinner. For a nominal fee, laundry service is also available for your convenience.

As you drift off to sleep, your mind will race about the great day you just had of trophy bass fishing, delicious food, and good friendship.
