| The majority of the anglers will fly
commercial airlines to either Phoenix or Tucson and
then a Mexican Airline to Los Mochis, Sinaloa. Upon
arrival in Los Mochis, a Representative from Trophy
Bass Lodge will meet you at the gate and you will
be shuttled to the Camp. Coming from North America,
you will find the 2 hour and 45 minute drive an exciting
adventure. The first 2 hours of the trip will be via
paved highway with the remaining 45 minutes on an
unpaved road. As you wind your way through the foot
hills of the Sierra Madre Mountains, you will see
spectacular views of scenic Mexico, including historic
Mining Villages, ancient cactus, palm tree oases and
ranches that have been worked for 500 years. All ground
transportation via a modern air-conditioned van is
included in your package! You can also fly a private
plane to El Fuerte, Sinaloa.
** IMPORTANT ** Obtaining a VISA
Make sure you bring both your Birth Certificate
(must have raised Seal) and Drivers License along
or obtain a Passport. You will be issued a Visa
by Mexican Customs at the Port of Entry. Adult Americans
traveling with a minor (17 years or younger) are
required to present a notarized letter from the
absent parent/s guaranteeing they have permission
to take the young one out of the country.
Arrival Options:
1.) Purchase your commercial flight to Los Mochis,
Mexico through Los Angeles, Tucson, Phoenix, Dallas,
Mexico City or Mazatlan. Ground transport to the
lodge is approximately 2 ¾ hours by modern
air-conditioned van.
2.) Fly via private aircraft and land at the 5,500
foot long paved airstrip available at El Fuerte,
Mexico. Aircraft watchmen are available for $10
US per day. Ground transport to the lodge is approximately
1 ¼ hours by modern air-conditioned van.
3.) Drive yourself. The drive is approximately 14
hours from Tucson, Arizona. Daily arrival frequency
are available, however, preferred arrivals are Sunday
and Wednesday.
