Please resist the tendency to overpack.
Fishing partners may coordinate packing of some
items to avoid unnecessary duplication. We recommend
a durable, water-resistant, lockable, top-zipper,
duffel as the checked luggage. Carry your most valuable,
essential and fragile items (preferable a change
of clothes, also) in your carry-on pack. Try to
fit everything into a single checked duffel bag,
in addition to a rod tube and a carry-on pack. I
carry on my reels also.
